About Copersil Technologies

IT has been my life since 1995, when my father bought me my first computer in Crimea, Ukraine. Back then, I was part of a small group of friends at school who spent every spare moment exploring, repairing, and trying to understand how machines worked. While others saw a novelty, I saw a craft worth mastering.

University taught me how to explain complex things simply. I moved to St. Petersburg in 2006 to work as a sysadmin, and in 2011 I founded my own IT company to serve small business customers directly. Managing their systems taught me what small enterprises actually need: practical decisions, respect for limited budgets, fast clear communication, and systems that keep working even when there is no internal IT team to catch every issue. I learned that reliability means understanding downtime costs money, that every business is unique, and that clear communication beats complicated jargon every time.

In 2019, I moved to Finland and joined the world of enterprise fintech. There, I worked on systems serving millions of users and co-led the migration of 600+ microservices to Azure and Kubernetes. I led incident response, built automation, and eventually managed a DevOps team. The scale was different, but the principle was the same: reliable technology, clear communication, and accountability.

Now in Canada, I founded Copersil so that small businesses across the GTA could have access to the same level of IT expertise that enterprises rely on — but with a personal touch. You get direct access to me, not a rotating call centre roster. That is how this works.
